Privacy Policy
Effective October 15, 2026
FARCO, Inc. ("FARCO," "we," "us") is a freight forwarding company at 4438 NW 74th Ave, Miami, FL 33166. This policy explains how we handle information from shippers, consignees, suppliers, and visitors to farcocargo.us.
1. Information we collect
- Contact and quote details: name, company, email, phone or WhatsApp number, route, and cargo description you submit.
- Shipment data: shipper, consignee, and notify-party names and addresses; tax identification numbers required by U.S. or destination customs; commodity descriptions, values, and classification numbers; and transport documents.
- Warehouse records: receiving logs, photos of cargo and packaging, weights, and dimensions.
- Billing information: invoices and payment records. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
- Website data: basic server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security. We do not use advertising trackers.
2. How we use it
- To quote, book, document, and track shipments.
- To file Electronic Export Information and meet U.S. export record-keeping requirements.
- To screen parties against U.S. government restricted-party lists.
- To invoice, handle claims, and respond to complaints.
3. Who we share it with
Moving freight means sharing shipment information with the parties who handle it. We share only what each needs:
- Airlines, ocean carriers, NVOCC partners, and trucking companies.
- U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the U.S. Census Bureau (through AES), and other government agencies as required.
- Destination agents and the consignee's customs broker.
- Insurers, when you request cargo insurance or file a claim.
- Service providers such as email hosting and accounting software, under confidentiality obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
4. International transfers
Because we ship internationally, shipment information is sent to carriers and agents in destination countries, where privacy laws may differ from those in the United States.
5. Retention
Export documents and related records are kept for at least five years as required by U.S. export regulations. Quote requests that don't become shipments are kept for up to two years.
6. Security
We use access controls, secure email, and restricted systems to protect shipment data. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected individuals of a breach as required by Florida law.
7. Your choices
You may ask what information we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete information we aren't required to retain. Contact support@farcocargo.us or call (305) 593-6418.
8. Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the current version.
