FAQ

Questions shippers ask

Do you clear customs at destination?

Import clearance is handled by a licensed customs broker in the destination country, usually chosen by the consignee. We send them the documents in advance and coordinate the handoff.

What do you need for a quote?

Origin, destination city, number of pieces, weight, dimensions, a short description of the goods, and whether it's urgent. Commodity value helps with insurance.

Can you ship personal effects or household goods?

We focus on commercial cargo. For personal shipments, contact us and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit or refer you to a specialist.

Is my cargo insured?

Carrier liability is limited by international conventions and is often far below cargo value. We strongly recommend cargo insurance, which we can arrange on request before departure.

Are there goods you won't ship?

We don't handle firearms, ammunition, or anything prohibited by U.S. export law or the destination country. Batteries, chemicals, and other hazardous goods need advance review.
